So - all these laws that the DEMs ram thru in the dead of the night with Mal-application of the 'reconciliation' rules can just be ignored??

There were no misleading steps taken in the state legislators by the GOP representatives - read the damn law they passed - precise, clear, logical, in absolute agreement with voting norms for the past 200 years - nothing skullduggery about it.

They didn't 'slip it into' some legislation intended for another purpose. They didn't skirt any procedural steps in passing them. There was full debate from either side to outline/argue their positions.

The objection the DEMs had was that the law exactly addressed the illegal plans they intended to implement. So what did they do??? they just bald-faced violated the laws - and there multi-billion $$$ oligarchs came in and bought up all the ad space with platitudes to propagandize the useful idiots + make it easier to dump however many 'mail-in votes' they needed after they determined how far they were behind - days after Election Day.

Yeah - there was an honest disagreement over arcane voting processes. right - like there is an honest disagreement over whether or not there were thousands of white supremacists storming the capitol building on Jan 6 with the intent of lynching all the opposing legislators. gotcha.

Naw you probably took me the wrong way. Let me add this little nugget to help things along here: all throughout there were illegal, despicable, unconstitutional, dastardly, un-American actions instituted by Democrats within the state (with the help and assistance of their friends in the media) to accomplish the ends to which I refer. And of course a complicit state Democratic party as well as the majority Democratic state Supreme Court.

Hope this clears matters up a touch.

absolutely. both scotus and the senate were clear that they wanted the states to be responsible but the states had no intention of investigating any hint of election fraud because that would reflect negatively on themselves and would uncover any malfeasance. it was never going to happen. evidence was never going to be heard in a court of law. never. at any point.

the laughable part is that the excuse was they didn't want to disenfranchise voters by entertaining the notion that the elections lacked integrity. but no one ever discussed the alternative, which we have now, that an illegitimate administration is in the highest office of the land

but of course that's all a smoke screen for business as usual, which trump was upsetting by trying to give power back to the people and, well, we can't have that now can we. let the states decide?! ARE YOU CRAZY?!?!
