Under any normal circumstances it would make a president’s job tougher but I don’t see how that would apply to Trump since he’s already been opposed at every turn by democrats except to renew the collecting of Americans data

Bingo.

The infighting is delicious.

It pissed him off so much that even on his deathbed he still wanted to kill Henry Clay the republican who spearheaded the movement to get him censured.

Andrew Jackson was famously censured by Congress

President James Buchanan, President Abraham Lincoln, President William Howard Taft also were censured in the House or Senate but not ratified by the other.

Other Censure attempts:
President John Adams
President James Polk
President Ulysses S. Grant
President Harry S. Truman
President Richard M Nixon
President Bill Clinton
President George W. Bush
President Barack Obama
and President DJT (this would be the second attempt at Censure for him)

The Senate needs to hold hearings anyway. They already should have.

I disagree she is the Speaker of the House and she has the ultimate say. This falls at Nancy's feet so while the other lunatics were pushing for this already the actual impeachment process was green lighted by her and her alone.

No, they shouldn't. The smart move is to let this impeachment farce play itself out. All the more ammo for later.

I think she sent Schiff out to die on the hill alone, for impeachment, if he wanted it so badly.

Remember, Schiff has been trying to warn folks about the deep fake video "threat" for a couple of years.

It's almost as if he knows that there's incriminating video footage of him out there, and once it invariably leaks, he can scream that it was deepfaked.

Yes, we know this. The point is she was pushed in to a corner where she had no choice but to. Otherwise she'd have lost her Speaker position. She's already come close once this term.

Seeing them listed like that is funny. Not a bad list to be apart of so to speak. I’m curious as to how many attempts were made for each. Donnie might set the record for impeachment/censure attempts

What would censure do? If I recall isnt it just a big slap on the wrist. She cant take anything away so all it would be is a vote they dont agree with Trump. Hell we know that

Nothing. It's basically a congressional rebuke with no consequences

Yeah, those strongly worded letters are a real killer.

Heard that a while ago on FOX. The Dems are just fricking pathetic. What an admission of "we are dumbasses but we will continue our dumbassery because we have nothing else."

Might as well write it out on this. Make it easier for him.

I would say that would drive the liberals crazy but that would be one hell of a short ride
