In that vein, the proposal stresses that it aims to meet its ambitious goals while paying special attention to groups like the poor, disabled and minority communities that might be disproportionately affected by massive economic transitions like those the Green New Deal calls for. Importantly, it’s a nonbinding resolution, meaning that even if it were to pass (more on the challenges to that below), it wouldn’t itself create any new programs. Instead, it would potentially affirm the sense of the House that these things should be done in the coming years.

This resolution is as empty as her brain.

You know who the dumbest people on the planet are? The people who are actually gullible enough to believe that AOC is anything more than a pawn or a figurehead. Or what she actually is, namely a puppet.

There's no way 5hat this fool, who couldn't even name the 3 "chains" of the Federal government, has had anything to do with putting together a "Green New Deal."

Sometimes I wonder just how many truly-deluded left-wing loons out there are fantasizing about a President Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez some day. Followed up by President David Hogg, of course.

The dumbest phrase out there. Any journalist or pundit that uses "throws shade" or "clapback" should be shot.

They had an energy expert on Tucker a few nights ago. They were talking about renewable energy (wind and solar). They basically said wind is not really feasible because it doesn't generate the power needed on a large scale. Solar has promise, however issues are storing the energy in batteries. Currently the largest solar array in the world is about the size of central park in New York. That array doesn't generate enough energy to run the NY Subway system for a day. While solar energy has merit, large scale development to completely replace fossil generated electricity for a city the size of Baton Rouge is not feasible.
