A side note:the new green BS of banning plastic straws is downright ignorant. It doesn't work or help anything. When we had brown paper sacks to haul groceries in we recycled the bags as book covers. More trees were taken down preventing forest fires and providing jobs for land clearers.

No unity at all in that party. It’s a collection of special interest groups, many of whose desires oppose one another...they just haven’t figured it out yet. 2016 was just the opening of a long fight (Bernie Bros vs Hillary) and only featured 2 sides. There are so many factions of Dems it’s insane and not a sustainable party at this point.
