House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) accused President Trump on Thursday of abusing the power of his office by weighing in on the Department of Justice sentencing of Trump's associate Roger Stone.
"We also saw the president this week demonstrate, once again that he has no respect for the rule of law ... by engaging in political interference in the sentencing of his associate Roger Stone," Pelosi told reporters at a press conference.
"This is an abuse of power. The president is again trying to manipulate federal law enforcement to serve his political interests."
