Do not fool yourself. Pelosi will be safe. China may bomb Taiwan and captured a few islands.
Who is gaining:
Pelosi and her stock trading expert husband.
Who is losing:
US. Taiwan is a bargaining chip for US. A good customer for US Weapons. Can used as a leverage when negotiate with China. US will lose this because Taiwan itself will say no.
Taiwan:
After the peace is broken, Taiwan will live in the bomb threats of mainland. Whenever Taiwan does sth Mainland does not like. Taiwan will be attacked.
In the future, it will be sth. like:
US: Hi, Taiwan, Let me sell you some F35.
Taiwan: Thanks for the help. But I can not do it.
China:
When the peace is broken, even if China suffer losses in military. It can keep coming back. This will be great motivation for it to spend more on military. Spend more inside its own country.

In HK, China followed the 1 country/2 systems religiously.
There was a plan to directly elect the HK governor. But HKers kept pushing the boundary. Now all is gone. HKers lost everything. The pro-western politicians are in jails now.
With help of US, Taiwan is keeping pushing the boundary. WHA, The western politician visits, the buying of weapons, stop over in Los Angeles. After Pelosi's visit, Taiwan will lose all of these. Will be a good kid.
For China, it needs an excuse to flip the table.
For HK, is was the 2019 demonstration and riots.
For Taiwan, this is it. Pelosi's visit. That is why from the beginning, China does not leave room for Pelosi to back down. Otherwise, China will talk through back channel to make sure everyone keeps face.
