As I'm sure you're aware that bail is used to ensure you come to court AND used to protect society. Since the defendant has a murder among his 35 convictions AND has already showed electronic monitoring doesn't matter then the $25k bond is extremely low since he only needs 10%. Here in South Carolina you get no bond for serious assault or domestic violence charges.
It is the judges responsibility to the public first and foremost so this judge, if he has a history of doing low bonds to career criminals, should be impeached and removed.

You know, or at least should know, that bail isn't granted automatically. Judge has PLENTY of options, including a very high bail amount. Guy has proven flight risk and danger to society. Etc etc

A judge will always have the final say. That is just how our constitution works.
However, judges should be required to put public safety first. The Nevada Supreme Court should take a hard look at this at this judge's removal from the bench.

What have we become if a judge has the ability to release a career criminal to society, against the will of the people? Surely against some ethical boundaries, which they swear an oath to withhold.
Just because a judge orders something, doesn't make it right or correct. Should all orders by judges be blindly followed because they are a judge?
This sheriff is upholding his oath to protect people. Should he violate his oath to serve orders of a judge?

There must be supervision at every precinct from now on. The employees counting the votes are easily persuaded to do what ever their "employer" pays them to do. I do believe plenty of people will be arrested and prosecuted prior to November 2026 election for election tampering issues.
