You are also everything wrong with politics. You would be on here losing your mind if Trump was deporting the DACA kids but since he’s not you come to make fun of the flip flopping. Without compromise and deal making our government doesn’t work.
Once again, please link or quote where I have stated my personal opinion on this issue. I'll save you some time though, I haven't. You are partially correct on one issue though. Because of the outlandishness of Trump's positions, and the love they receive on this board, I will absolutely make fun once he flip flops.

So what's your position?

Eh, the conversation, prior to Trump killing DACA, has always been path to citizenship for ALL illegals - which most conservatives are against.
Now, the thought of a Ptc for DACA kids in exchange for border security and real law enforcement seems like reasonable middle ground. Two popular concepts that can easily be rolled into a slam dunk bipartisan win for all of America.
Too bad the petty arse Dems will vote against a Ptc for nearly 2 million illegals because frick Trump.

No flip flop about citizenship for illegal immigrants without proper vetting and a time frame long enough to prove their worth here. That has not change. Having to tolerate fricks like you that hasn't changed either.

You haven't linked or quoted anyone so why should anyone do that for you.
You are trying to apply transitive properties for being a Trump supporter into having to believe anything and everything he stated.
You supported John Kasich
quote:
Q: in 1993 you co-sponsored a bill in Congress that would take away "birth right citizenship": that is the citizenship automatically given to babies born in the US, even if they are born to undocumented immigrants. In 2010 you reiterated that, is that still your position?
A: First of all, we ought to finish the fence. The 11 million who are here, we ought to find out who they are. If they've been law abiding over a period of time they ought to be legalized and ought to be able to stay here. If you have violated the law, we're going to ship you out. Once that fence gets built, we should make it clear, anybody who sneaks in, you're going back home. And in addition we need a guest worker program so that people can come in and work and be able to go back to support their family.
Q: Would ending birthright citizenship be part of this larger immigration approach?
A: I don't think we need to go there.
Flip flop much?

Too many people don't take this seriously enough, IMO.

Well dipshit the dreamers rejected it just like I said they would
Trump did not flip flop shite when he knew all along they would accept nothing.
Now he can tell them to get fricked

He's projecting his own closed mindedness on conservatives.
Why is the right open to compromise? Aren't we all just supposed to crumble to the will of the most radical wings of partisan politics?

Here's the way I look at it: Are you providing a service to making this country better? If yes, you can stay, you go to the back of the line to get citizenship, and over time you become a true American. If not and you're a leech, we throw your arse out. It's simple. Just use common sense.

You do realize that there are an estimated 10 million MORE illegals in this country than the Dreamers, right? So unless he was specifically asked about the Dreamers themselves, which he wasn't, the wind is out of your sails a bit.
Before you try to argue semantics let me just say that I'm fully aware and choosing to stoop to the opponent's (and your) level.

I am against a path to citizenship. Both sides have to give in some . If Trump can get the Wall fully funded , end chain immigration , get a merit based immigration and only give Dreamers that don’t live off the government a path to citizenship in 10 years then it will be a good deal .
This.
I'm of the same opinion. 10 years is about what it takes now to get citizenship last I checked so they aren't cutting any lines/procedures to get them through. Plus we make good tax paying individuals out of them. But I hope they are smart as to which ones get to stay and which ones have to go.
