Muslims have been in Michigan, New York, California, and Illinois way before Obama or Biden were in office.

I saw the growth in the late seventies while working in the mountains of NY. These folks are all playing the long game.

This is the problem, you think you can kill a culture, by passing a law.

A good understanding of history will show you why war or love are the only solutions.

Coming from an atheist, this post is retarded. Islam is a threat. Christianity isn’t.

The REAL conservative position is to welcome a religious group that will completely eliminate the constitution as soon as they gain power. If you don’t support this “freedom” then you are not conservative!

Here is a well thought out Christian perspective on this topic. I would encourage anyone to listen to this take.

Yeah, those limitations are in the justice system and for specific events, not outright ban on religion.
The justice system is what interprets and applies the law, itself. There have been some radical interpretations of the Constitution over the years.

If you want to start banning religions because they are bullshite and what not, I'd put yours in the list too. Not all of Christianity, just your version.
I want to ban Islam specifically because it is antithetical to all western thought and belief in regard to truth, freedom, and morality. Not merely because I disagree with it as a Christian.

here's an idea foo, since there 4-4.5 million muslims in the united states, if they're going to take over merica n' such they're gonna have their hands full as they're 77 million roman catholics in the united states!

so let's just cut to the chase and make the roman catholic church our national religion! it's the largest christian denomination in the world 1.4 billion! 2000 years old!

let's say a hail mary and celebrate!

Banning things you don't agree with is antithetical to all western thought.

I don't want to ban your religion because you are Christian, I want to ban your specific version because it's antithetical to all things Jesus stood for.

If I announced tomorrow that I had a vision from some made up god or prophet, started a religion, and said the god or prophet told me that murder of non believers, oppression of women, and pedophilia were ok should I be able to freely spread that religion and commit those acts without consequences? You know, because 1st amendment and all

Those are things that are illegal and religion has nothing to do with it.

This thread is about destroying the separation of church and state.

Which is why I'm opposed to the OP.

You and the others in this thread are literally trying to destroy the first amendment and the separation of church and state.

Currently Muslims have no right to impose their religion on others.

I don't care. As long as our culture, including our foundation based on Judeo-Christian principles, is preserved, I'm okay updating a part of the Constitution that needs updated.

The Constitution never anticipated an invasion by Muslims or the Third World. As far as I'm concerned, they have no rights here. Make Christianity the official religion of the U.S. and get the Muslims out of here, by force if necessary.

So you want to do what you accuse them of doing?

No thanks.

It’ll likely be a European country first because they’re getting hit harder by the Muslims than we are.

I could see Germany doing it first when the AfD comes into power.

Do you think Muslims will respect the separation of Church and State if they take the majority one day?

It is a simple yes or no.

If your answer is yes you are a terrible student of history, if your answer is no then you are allowing Islam to hide behind religion as you watch it slowly take over and erode the very freedoms you claim to care about.

That's like accusing someone who pushes down an old lady to get her out of the way of a speeding bus as being the same as someone who pushes down an old lady as part of stealing her purse.

Context matters and the context here is that freedom to a group hellbent on removing your freedom is as short-sighted as it is self-defeating.
