Gaetz was a weird pick and obviously just part of a plan. I don’t know how anyone thought it would be a reality nor why they’d want him in that role.

Of course it isn’t. But posters like him have already written their fan fiction on Gaetz somehow taking down the deep state despite never having any actual experience in that roll. Meanwhile we have a pitbull candidate with a proven track record with experience , tact, and loyalty and it’s a big yawn. I guess she hasn’t yelled enough in congress or had enough plastic surgery

You had the majority of people here wanting Trump to force a recess and appoint the guy, effectively burning a major bridge with the Senate that he will need in the future. He was a serious pick, and people wanted to go scorched earth out of the gate to get him in.

There is nothing edgy about that. Bondi was a fantastic AG for us, is maga as frick and has a wealth of experience. She will do an amazing job for us. Sorry if that upsets you lib.

The Senate is an independent governing body, like the President’s Executive Branch. The President can’t make them decide how he wants to, just as you can’t.
