I have asked this question multiple times without an answer but how exactly does a federal judge in New York have any type of jurisdiction over somebody who is currently in Louisiana
I would've walked into the judges courtroom and told him he does not have jurisdiction and no order he enters is valid and when he entered an order I would've immediately appealed it and continued my process in Louisiana to get them removed from the c Country
Federal court isn't Judge Judy. You can't just walk in and tell a judge they don't have jurisdiction and ignore their orders. You have file a motion for change of venue. As of this morning, the government had not filed a motion for change of venue and in court today the judge gave them until midnight tonight to file it. Assuming they do that, it will move to LA or NJ. Until that is done, the judge where the habeas petition was filed will oversee the case.

Man you sure are melting over this guy. No one cares about this POS.
No matter what, he isn’t a citizen so doesn’t deserve all the melting as if he is.
You don’t have the right to go into someone else’s home, and disrespectfully cross lines. This guy should have known he needed to stay civil due to his legality. Millions of people do that on a regular basis.
He has no right to be here. He has the privilege. That privilege can be cancelled out, and I don’t care why it is. Frick him.
Take it up with the OP man. I didn't start the thread. We're just chewing on it, that's all. I've been following it pretty closely, I'm fascinated by it.

there's a provision in all this that says he can stay if his deportation would cause undue hardship on a spouse, parent or child.
It's not that simple, and he hasn't met the physical presence requirement.

I think the likelihood of him getting deported is really low.
I think he will be sitting in Jena for a LONG time, like 2-3 years or more. No idea if I think he succeeds or not. On one hand I am almost absolutest on free speech and pro-immigrant, but on the other hand I think this dude is a piece of shite who would doesn't deserve to enjoy the privileges and oppurtunities this country has given him.
No he hasn't. I believe it's 10 years but I wasn't sure if that's a hard and fast rule.

Hmmm. Is it legal to deport someone just because they speak in favor of some bad guys? Assuming no other support or conspiracy, I mean. Is this legit?
It is, but we don't know if this guy has actually done that or not. We just assume he has.

Look at his history. He went to American University in palestine/west bank. Its a university funded by the US/EU and "non profits". It was formed and organized by the California University system. Hmmm take a radical school and put them in the middle east with no guardrails and you can imagine the curriculum.
He then went to work as an intern for hamas better known as the UNRWA, okay I exaggerate...a little.
Then somehow ends up at an Ivy League school in America and decides to shat on the country and its people.
And yes the shathead can have his green card jerked for what he did. He was repeatedly warned and did it anyway.
Throw him in the general population of Jena and tell them he was tearing Wallace stickers off the backs of cars.

The goal in our legal system is to win. You hope the truth comes out, but that is secondary.
Get a good f-ing lawyer and kick this scumbag out.
If you want to see where we end up by allowing Muslims to use our legal system against us, look at Europe. These people protesting will never assimilate.

Moving for ward in time, The existence of our Marine Corps. was to fight thieving muslims. Now look at the miserable situation Europe is in due to the goat fricking bastards.

There is no room for any of them or their sympathizers in our society. Personally I'm hoping we can weed out this rot before my granddaughters have to cover head to toe.

And what makes his deportation inevitable?
Because he is a fooking terrorist, actively advocating for the overthrow of the US government. He also has no green card, Visa, or any document allowing him to stay here. Seems pretty cut and dried.

Did the government file a motion seeking change of venue?
