American's are laughably obsessed with gas prices. For 90% or more of us, gas expenditures are less than 5% of a monthly budget.

Gas is always too expensive, but there is plenty of money for the booze at the Saturday tailgate that cost more than what you spend in a month on gas.

$4 for 12 eggs seems a bit high but you bought organic. It’s $1.67 at my Walmart right now for a dozen large eggs.

Kroger brand 80/20 ground beef is $7.29 here

yes kroger's is expensive for ground beef, so is walmart, you need to find a grocery store that has an actual butcher shop and grinds their own beef. we have an independent grocery small chain here in little rock edwards and they typically have 80/20 chuck or ground round for $4.99 a pound otherwise you should probably stick to chicken walmart has boneless skinless breast for $2.39 per pound. hope this helps!

It's still expensive but at least around here, diesel is back under $6. Still has a long way to drop

Has nothing to do with low herd numbers. Drought caused that

Because gas affects the cost of everything else. You don’t just pay a few cents extra at the pump and that’s it.

You can get the mass produced cheap eggs with micro plastics for about half that price. So go for it

You are looking at average…

Try actually reading signs while driving.

I go to a small homesteader who once a month has a "market day", where he provides grass fed organic beef, chickens, fresh farm eggs, raw milk, etc. and I only pay about $7.00 for a pound of ground meat there.

I just wrapped up a road trip all the way to Salt Lake and back. Think the highest I paid was $5 a gallon on some Indian reservation and the lowest I paid was $2.29 in Natchitoches (I entered my phone into pump and said I didn't qualify for discount but gave me $1 off).

Gas is definitely more expensive out west.

I looked at a Viking Yacht for $24 million this morning which twenty years ago would have gone for $6. I blame Trump.
