The president and the state department made a military decision for political reasons. Plain and simple.

Kinda hard to bang the "Al Qaeda on the run" drum when you are having to send in the military to save your Ambassador on 9/11

Jenna Lee is HOT. This is all a pony show for fox to get some ratings. Repubs in DC have zero interest in getting the facts out since they were briefed before the shite hit the fan on what was going on. Illegal by un standards CIA operation that failed.

why hasn't a select committee be formed

Heard a news pundit on tv a couple of days ago saying that Boehner was waiting on positive proof for the investigation to lead to the White House before calling for a special investigation by a select committee.

This president was still lying about this being a video 3 weeks later at the U.N. , he lied so his " Al Qada is on the run " statement wouldn't be dismissed as B.S. , HE LIED because he had always, up until now, never been challenged about anything he said, he was WORSHIPED by the dumb azz media as if he was a Messiah. The dumb azz was given a Nobel He Lied because he thought he was above everyone else and it was HIS RIGHT to say as he damned well pleased.

He left our boys to die because he is a fricken idiot.

Analyst just summed it up. White House treated it as A political crisis, not a terrorist attack. They had to make up a lie to cover it up, because it would make the administration looks like the light weights they are. Media is down deep in this rabbit hole, as well...

No, that is not true. You don't know how oaths work.

You take an oath to cover up for the state department?

He took an oath to defend the constitution. I would think of a security clearance as more of a legally binding contract.

Don't know, but he was under the State Dept's command. So, chain of command issues...

I think this is a situation where the coverup is worse than the act...

the thing is there wasn't much of a cover-up. Oh wait, political appointees said something to cover their political arse? Big surprise.
