We all know why crime has exploded and Dem/Soros run city administrations try to hide the obvious by manipulating the statistics. They change what determines the definition of felony murder and or plea it down to a misdemeanor charge. Voila, less crime.
The real bottom line is that the Left does this because they believe that Constitutional Principle ( Capitalism) is immoral from its Founding and therefore should be “fundamentally change “. The Left believes that people commit crime because the System forces them to. This is the elephant in the room and the people are beginning to see it.
I think the next and hopefully more honest election will go a long way toward reflecting whether the people want freedom or a check from the shrinking Treasury. Because the loss of Freedom and the implementation of DEI-based government will it stop with the money; it will logically expand to the Orwellian “Animal Farm “ system of societal management. It’ll have to.

When local authorities refuse to do anything to curb the mayhem, when they doctor the statistics to fit their narrative, and when they continue to ask for tax dollars to support their liberal DEI agendas in their neutered workforce, it is time for someone to step in and and "help" them out. DC, however, is not a state, but a federal district which really falls under the control of the federal government. Trump was in his rights to do this especially given the lack of credible governance that was taking place on the local level.

NOLA has had a homicide in just the last few days. That’s 100% more than DC since Trump’s efforts clean it up. So that warrants it for me.
Yes, overall crime is down, but it’s still far too high in NOLA.
Bring in 200 NG I say and direct NOPD to conduct more traffic stops specifically on all the cars with fake temp tags. Go after the 4 wheeler gangs and the burnout assholes.

Some leaders allow crime to happen and grow. These are liberals. Democrats.
Other leaders fight against crime. These are NOT liberals.
