DJT has got to be THE BEST President our country has had in modern times.

quote:

Nearly 400 miles of new border wall system is now complete. Just as important, the Trump Administration is prosecuting and deporting violent criminals, stopping the flow of illegal drugs, and closing the loopholes that help human smugglers while hurting our own citizens, including legal immigrants.

“The refugee system—set up to provide refuge for victims of war and persecution who had nowhere else to go, often on an explicitly temporary basis—had long since become a racket,” National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd writes.

“It provided prestigious jobs in Washington for ‘resettlement experts’ and taxpayer money for glorified slumlords, while generating massive fallout for unsuspecting American communities. Today the system has finally been returned to its proper role.”

With other strong actions from the Trump Administration, including building the border wall, apprehensions for illegal immigration dropped 70% between last May and this August. And during the past fiscal year alone, U.S. law enforcement seized over 100,000 pounds of cocaine, 83,000 pounds of meth, 2,700 pounds of fentanyl, and more.

“The progress we are celebrating here did not happen by accident. The many miles of border wall system exists because of the will and vision of President Trump, and the dedication and hard work of the men and women of DHS, the Army Corps of Engineers and our colleagues from across the Administration,” Acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf said.

Illegal immigration hurts everyone. It empowers criminals, bankrolls human smugglers, and fuels transnational gangs. It costs both legal immigrants and U.S. citizens a shot at the American Dream. It endangers law enforcement officers, makes our communities less stable, and puts law-abiding workers and businesses at a disadvantage.

How many miles are left?

The US/Mexican border is a little under 2000 miles in length.

Border Patrol requested 1100 miles of a border wall system to get the southern border operationally secure.

Now this is where it gets a little tricky.

The left and the cheap-labor RINOs have been stating we already have a southern border 'wall' actually fencing.

Best numbers I could find pre-Trump border wall are from FairUS.org, which is one of the leading organizations calling for immigration reform.

quote:

As of May 2015, DHS had installed:

•353 miles of Primary Pedestrian Fencing.

•36 miles of Secondary Fencing.

•14 miles of Tertiary Pedestrian Fencing.

•300 miles of Vehicle Fencing.

FairUS_borderwall

So basically there was about 670ish miles of border fencing pre-Trump wall system.

Most of it was Mickey-Mouse consisting of waste-high WWII style vehicle fencing that a 65 year grandmother could cross, rusted barbed wire fence, old Vietnam War era helicopter landing sheets of tin used as a 'wall'

Border Patrol, however, did deem about 220 miles of pre-existing wall as operationally effective that did not need replaced/upgraded.

Since Twitter cowardly locked out the account of Border Patrols updates on the wall progress, we don't have a graphic to see to monitor the progress.

This is the latest that we have as of October 19, 2020:

But know this, our southern wall system is being built with blazing speed. They are averaging about 10 miles a week

They are on schedule to have 450 miles complete by the end of the year.

Remember, its just not a physical wall that is being built,a lot of places are get TWO walls, a primary and secondary wall.

Its being built to milspecs. 18 foot, sometimes up to 30 foot bollard style wall with high-strength steel reinforced with concrete and rebar.

They going down 10-12 deep with concrete footing that is 2 foot thick.

Motion activated stadium-type lighting, high speed access roads, observation posts and living quarters for BP.

Lots of old and new tech are right now in use.

Drones, miniature-blimps that can peer hundreds of miles and send instant HD video to BP.
Lots of equipment for BP agents to protect our southern border.

Ground sensor to detect tunneling that are moveable.

Hundreds of BP agents are being recruited and trained.

With four more years of DJT, the southern border wall system will fully built.

Yep, she's been awfully quite.

What a lot of people don't realize is that DJT had to overcome a lot of obstacles to get the wall going.

One of the very first Executive Order signed by DJT was to commission a study for the southern border wall system and other immigration measures.

EO13767

Note a couple of previous acts were mentioned in his EO.

They were, ahem...

quote:

The Secure Fence Act of 2006 and

The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996

Most of which was ignored.

Most of 2017 of the Trump Administration first year was involved in the study of a wall system.

Then, Trump was backstabbed by BOTH the US Senate and the US House RINOs in John McCain, Jeff Flake, Paul Ryan among many other RINO swamp rats.

When the GOP lost control in the US House in 2019, everyone thought the wall system was dead BUT somehow DJT pulled it off.

The year 2020 has seen super-amazing progress on our southern border wall system.

quote:

Furthermore, as Acting Secretary Chad Wolf illustrated in his recent State of the Homeland Address, the timeline has been accelerating since construction began:

“In January, we reached 100 miles of new border wall system. In June, we achieved 200 miles. In August, we marked the 300th mile—and by the end of this calendar year we will reach over 450 miles of new border wall system.”

Now construction is moving at a rate of approximately 10 miles per week, setting the administration up to complete its year-end goal with time to spare

It’s funny watching the left talk about how Mexico isn’t paying for it like that is some huge gotcha. They actually act like Trump meant they would just cut a check for it

No one is talking about it, but unaccompanied minors is growing at a pretty rapid pace.

We’re expecting a deluge after the election, I assume conditioned on the thought of a likely Biden win.

Here is part of the old wall on the San Diego, Tijuana border that illegals could easily walk around.

Note the old rusted tin from Vietnam War era helicopter landing pads :

Now here is the new wall that has been going up, also note the double wall system:

Could be. I think both Mexico and Guatemala has agreements with the US to handle this.

Sadly, children are being kidnapped by the cowardly cartels and trafficked to the US to be sold into prostitution.

Whats even more sad is that parents of these children are selling them to the cartels and coyotes to be smuggled into the US.

The thug cartels are being dealt with behind the scenes, via Operation Anaconda.

We are making efforts to be bring economic and political stability to these countries so they don't want to leave their native country's.

Well, folks like him can't help it. When you are spoon fed garbage propaganda from the likes on MSNDNC, CCP-CNN skews and the DUump-underground...

...its easy to see how it happens.

Actually I think Hank is a good poster and I wish more folks like him would post here.

Legalizing drugs would be more efficient.

I don't really care to get into an legalize/decriminalize issue about drugs but its not working to well for a lot of places.

Look at San Francisco, a exploding homeless zombie population where they are crapping on the streets, ruining beautiful business districts...pitching cardboard shelters right on the sidewalks...prostitution

They won't tell you its because of the spaced-out druggies roaming the streets but its true, most are younger folks in their 20-30s.

Anywho, the main purpose is to help stop/hinder the flow of illegals who are overflowing schools, neighborhoods, medical facilities, filling up the prisons, living off taxpayers.

Then there the issue of human-trafficking, kidnapping, murder, violence...
