Nah they just listen to Daddy Trump now. If Trump was able to make his own news network they'd watch it and claim it was the perfect source

Fox news saw a vacuum, and filled it with fairness for conservatives. If they abandon the ones that brought them where they are, someone else will sense another vacuum, and fill it.

Dot 1: It’s common knowledge Trump watches a lot of Fox News and periodically calls into the shows. He is in frequent communication with Hannity, and Hannity speaks to Trump as his audience. It’s very pleasing for Trump to hear positive things about himself, and alternatively, he gets riled up after news stories present a problem for him to speak about. Trump often tweets directly after watching Fox News in the am.
Dot 2: Fox News coverage says something Trump doesn’t like and/or hires someone Trump doesn’t like. So Trump now has a problem with the news coverage and with the Network.
Dot 3: Trump tweets that Fox News isn’t working for us anymore, and we need to find an alternative.
Dot 4: If Trump doesn’t approve the message, then it isn’t working for us. Trump must approve the message.
Dot 5: The message must be Trump’s message.
