Hello everyone, This is Crissie, Ben's wife. I promised I would give you an update on his last scan. It isn't good news I'm afraid. The cancer is in multiple spots on his lungs. His oncologist referred us to Hospice. They are supposed to reach out to us soon. We are scared and upset to say the least. We aren't ready to say goodbye. Please keep us in your prayers. We are gonna try and get away for a bit to visit family and spend time together while we still can. I don't know how we are gonna fit a lifetime into a few months but we will do our best. Thank you all for the messages and prayers. We do read them all. Crissie

I don't want to over-step, but contact one of their financial counselors. MDA used to take out state patients into their charity funding program. (I used to work down the street from them in the Pediatric Cancer Center at TCH). Also, see if they have any Phase I trials you may qualify for.
