You guys give universities way too much credit. I barely remember my teachers from college. A few made an impression, but it had nothing to with politics or religion.
This is just the next boogeyman for trumpers.

I went through college at 30 years old, after the military. If it wasn't free and getting paid to go, I would've never went. Policies and tenure is their safety blanket to spew bullshite to indoctrinate the youth.

Does it bother you that your president graduated from a more prestigious university than where you graduated?

What would the practical application of this be? Selectively punishing certain school systems and universities depending on how liberal/conservative they are?

I remember most of mine.

Perhaps you should have paid attention. Were you one of those hippies that majored in weed?

I’m sorry but this just sounds like more bullshite talk. But I’ll gladly eat crow if they actually lift their tax exempt status. I remember when he said Antifa was going to be labeled a terrorist organization. Also that social media EO hasn’t done a fricking thing to change their behavior.

Well, churches and other tax exempts go through the same process, not sure what the difference is. The process itself of course can be challenged as well.

Its a shot across the bow that they should not be engaging in politics. <-

Tax exempt statuses are pulled all the time, churches are a big one. Again, not saying anything will occur here, but I actually welcome the potential start.

I'm actually for all federal funding to be pulled from higher education.

"Engaging in politics" has morphed into discussing anything even remotely controversial now though. You can't eliminate that in schools. This is another nothing burger threat by trump.

Its a case by case situation, as I said, its a shot across the bow. My personal opinion is, all federal funding should stop for higher education.

While he is at it, he should have them investigate the tax status of the NCAA. Seems like they have gotten into politics more and more the past decade.

Also I did. I just think its odd that a man who pleads guilty to fraud and court ordered to shut down their own university is giving lectures on proper operation of institutions of higher learning.

The NCAA, schools and administrators should be indicted under RICO and anti-trust.

Donald Trump plead guilty to a criminal fraud charge?

(hint, this is the point where you might want to bow out)
