I think it's politicized and I don't trust the vaccine. And the data is being manipulated.

That said, I always prepare.

I am happy that you’re trying to take an active role in your health. I want people to get vaccinated because I think it’s the best thing for them, but I also don’t want people to get vaccinated before they’re ready. I may be an a-hole here but it’s predominantly because some of the stuff is just so outlandish.

If any of you dig through my post history, you will never want to see me tell people to go get vaccinated or anything of the sort. I just say I think people who are over 50 or dumb for not doing so. But it is still your choice and if you’re not going to get vaccinated, then I want you to do something that will at least help.

Correcting vitamin D deficiency is probably the most important thing you can do to mitigate Covid severity outside of pharmacological intervention. The rest of it is sort of wishy-washy but eating right and staying healthy and taking vitamins correctly is something we should all be doing anyway

I take all of those for different reasons; melatonin for sleep, multivitamin for the B & C, then added D3 4000 Units and Zinc.

Wonder if it’s just from the H2 blockage, inflammation cascade…?

No problem with taking Vitamin D even if you’re not D deficient, though, right? I have no idea if I am or not but am taking D out of caution.

Also, what’s the science or the philosophy behind melatonin? I don’t take the stuff because it keeps me groggy too ling the next day, but might bite the bullet if it’s believed to help.

I’m not deficient and started taking it when the daylight got short last fall through the winter. Didn’t have any issues.

Correct. Studies have just indicated that taking vitamin D after you are sick for covid when you are not deficient didn't really do anything. People with vitamin D deficiency were just more likely to not do well.

Unfortunately quite a bit in that protocol has been "Deboonked" since 11/2020. We were still in the "kitchen sink" phase kinda since we didnt have much still outside of steroids.

Pepcid and melatonin probably don't do anything. Melatonin probably won't hurt you. I wouldn't take pepcid if you dont need it because you can actually make it not work as well the longer you take it. Tachyphylaxis can occur with H2 antagonists.

QUERCETIN

No the link isn’t about masking. It’s based on the supplements and research behind them and what dosage to take and when etc

I have read that it’s ok to D even if you’re not deficient, just take the lower strength capsule

When researching this i stumbled upon some research on people taking large doses to get rid of toenail fungus. The doses they were taking were crazy crazy high. It’s fat soluble so i couldn’t help but be concerned for these people, but the low dose recommended in that link up top seems to be safe

D Deficiency is considered one of our biggest heath issues.

On doctor said we dont have a cold and flu season - instead we have a Vitamin D deficiency season.

It is sensitive to the latitude in which someone lives. In the American south, most doctors believe we get enough Vitamin D with typical sunlight exposure IN THE SUMMER SEASON.

In the Winter Fall and early spring, not so much and we become deficient. I think the desirable range for any season is to test blood for D at 40-70 mcg/nl or whatever unit is is.

When I got Covid in January of 2020 I did not pay any attention to this number - was not even aware of it really. In addition to Covid I was having problems with tolerance to some of the cholesterol medicines I was prescribed. My number was at 22, WAY low out of the range. I felt bad, I felt like I was aging real fast.

My lipidology specialist, when working on the intolerance to statins issue, started me on 10,000 IU VitD/day and my D level role to the top of the normal range. In fact I went TOO HIGH. I felt much better and statin intolerance was no longer a problem. I now take 5,000 IU 3 times a week.

Regarding Ivermectin, does anyone really have this stuff and what is the safest source?

What are the contra-indications?

I've had COVID twice and both times Tylenol sinus and a generic they had in the cabinet at work simply called "Cold Medicine" was enough to keep me comfortable. I took about 20 packets of it home with me when I quarantined.

I'm assuming I had milder symptoms than most, though.

It’s very common if you have livestock and is available online or at farm supply places without a rx for animals. Almost all the injectable are 1% or 10mg/ml. Your Dr may prescribe the tablets if asked, some people have mentioned mail order Indian pharmacies and others have mentioned LINK /
I’m not advocating for any of these btw. Talk to your Dr

I hear some ginseng, ground ginger, and eye of newt. You'll be right and ready in no time.

Or Dr. Cures medical cream. Treats all ailments only 19.95 on a sketchy Chinese website.

Some nasal inhalers with benz... something. Can't remember the name. It helps with allergies.
