It only lasted about a second or two but it was a good jolt. They are saying it was a 3.9 but it was scary. It centered around the SF airport which is only a few miles from me.

I was drunk during my first EQ in CA. Had no idea WTF was going on and passed right back out after. Next day my friends told me there was an EQ

That wasn't an earthquake. The wrath of God is about to be visited on the den of sodomites.

I was in SF when the 89 EQ hit and I thought it was all over for me. It is so scary when you have no control over what's happening to you. This one felt like a cement truck hit my building. Fortunately it didn't last long.

'Cause I'm praying for rain
I'm praying for tidal waves
I want to see the ground give way
I want to watch it all go down
Mom, please flush it all away
I want to see it go right in and down
I want to watch it go right in
Watch you flush it all away

My only experience with an earthquake was in Chicago of all places.

4th floor of the hotel moving around, even if not violently, was disconcerting. I was wondering if a loaded dump truck hit the building or something. Found out later it was a quake.

Lived in Cali and had a couple of pretty bad middle of the night quakes..but by far the scariest one I ever felt was in Fort Morgan, Alabama...centered out by Dauphine Island...the liquifaction of the beach sand made it feel unbelievable..everybody running out of condos freaking out...wild

The only earthquake I've ever felt was here in TX about 10 years ago. It was a big one centered east of Oklahoma City.
My wife and I had just finished with the sex about a minute earlier when it hit.
I thought Damn, if I'd held out a minute longer I could have really rocked her world.
