Ornithology (birds) is racist

This is not satire. 150 birds in North America are named after the bird experts who discovered them. Like
Bachman's Sparrow. All 150 names are of white people.
Although I can't name one off the top of my head, there are probably lots of famous black bird experts who have been excluded from this honor due to racism.

They might want to add another racist bird name to list list. That would be former DEMOCRAT US Senator from West Virginia and former Grand Wizard of the Klu Klux Klan Robert K Byrd who served till 2010.
This is the only BYRD that was truly racist.

After clicking this thread I got an ad up top in German with a bird picture. I don't speak german but somebody in another thread used the "german" thing describing it.
