Strange to me that you fight laws that are aimed at keeping guns in the hands of lawful people.

I'm strictly talking about a permit to own a firearm and punishment for anyone in possession of them without said permit. Seems pretty logical and something that legal gun owners would want. Strange to me that you fight laws that are aimed at keeping guns in the hands of lawful people.
Just wondering, what would registering law abiding citizens do to curb unlawful activity?

What other permits are required for Constitutional rights?

Now, if you want a permitting scheme to allow me to carry concealed anywhere? Banks, federal buildings, airports, etc.? Maybe we can talk then.
But for mere possession? GTFO

Found it.
So permits to vote? Where does that exist and who is advocating for that? Also, where can you legally hand your buddy some money and have him/her buy you a firearm?

Funny that you honestly believe this.
Wait, you're saying straw man purchases are actually legal?

I'm saying they can. And the fact that I'm not a felon means I would never be in trouble for being in possession of that firearm. If you say that is not true then you are being dishonest.

Well, let's make that illegal...

Nope. I'm saying that there is zero chance I'll ever be arrested for being in possession of a firearm that doesn't belong to me and isn't stolen.

Well Jim Acosta of all people made a video last week kind of showing this. Plus the border control agents want a wall.

Right, because it's painfully obvious that you don't own any.

Lol yes. And you have seen them too. You just choose to ignore then or see only what you want to see.

And a gun registery of legal gun owners will catch zero criminals.
Congrats. You figured it out

You're not making a whole lot of sense here

I own plenty. Some I own in my name and some that I just ended up with. I'd have no problem getting a permit of sorts if need be. Most l as awful gun owners should approve of that.
