Please call your councilman or woman and push to pass ordinance 122. This vote will take place in 30 days. Ord 122 will help prevent the camping and staging in public areas. Seigen / public benches etc. Lets work together and clean up br.

Pretty sure there are ordinances covering this and panhandling now.

Neither BRPD nor EBRSO want anything to do with it because it is a resource drain, unlike a DUI checkpoint or speed traps.

Yeah there isn't much you can do. Arrest them, hold them for a bit, and release them where they just return to the same spot.

They’ll enjoy the free meals and roof over their head while inside.

Ordinance isn't going to do anything. If you want to get rid of them light their tents on fire... while they're in them.

frick em. Id rather waste money throwing them in jail then have to trip on them on the sidewalks or have their nasty arse staring at me for money.

Funny how I was allowed to sleep on the beach at Cape Hatteras in college.

But now, Certain parts of the year you had to leave at 10pm.

But let’s let folks sleep in the streets.

Why not just provide Public housing for the homeless instead of trying to arrest them

Don't do that, but you can stop your truck, snag the tent and throw it away if you're that opposed to it. I seriously doubt there's anything they could do, you're just picking up litter.

God damn man, you are dumber than I thought.

We tried this with covid. They just brought the drugs and the killings there.

They want to live on the street.

Until they start to have withdrawals from the drug/alcohol abuse.
