We paid for the entirety of Ukraine and Belarus as well when we caused the collapse of the Soviet Union.
We have stood by and allowed him to re-claim Belarus and parts of the Ukraine for free. Now we are making him pay to continue his expansion. That is my point, and as of now I am in favor of the policy.

Yes, because military units in all nations for centuries have chosen symbols and slogans to make them feel badass and pump up morale.

Which is why the British Sky News media hack immediately said “we’re out of time” and cut to commercial as soon as the Russian Deputy UN Ambassador held that picture up on live tv.
Also why Ukraine immediately deleted the picture once someone brought it to their attention.
