Anyone who believes these stories is an idiot. What is she going to say? My husband was a drug smuggler. Sad that the left eat it up. Every boat saves 25,000 American lives - keep it up

Why does everyone think that if you are against this, then you are soft on drugs? Arrest them and sentemce them. If somebody was suspected of drug trafficking in the US, they would be arrested amd give a trial, not blown up where they stand.

You're not being soft on drugs, you're being soft on terrorists. It's not just drugs. It's gunrunning, human trafficking, rape, murder, child abuse, bribery. You are supporting the prolification of all of that by being soft on narcoterrorists.

Instead of just killing terrorists, you want the US to put troops and vessels at risk, spend money housing and feeding them, pay for all their lawyers, and then pay for them to spend the rest of their lives here, and maybe a deportation after living off the taxpayer for a few decades.

Or we blow up the boats.

Honestly, it should be a no brainer.

After watching the US spend millions to deport a single human trafficking gangbanger, wanting them arrested instead is nonsensical.

The weirdest part is that many of the people who constantly complain about spending money the most are the same ones who want us to spend even more money housing, feeding, defending, and deporting these terrorists.

People have become so soft and used to America being the world's doormat that it becomes uncomfortable for them when a president actually wields strength.

More power to them here...

The only real take from this thread is there are a lot of dumb people who think going after cartels will solve the drug problem.

Amercians love drugs, its part of our fabric of life here so youre just going to have to get accustomed to it.

Many self medicate, because the legal system denies them access to sufficient legal drugs. Dirty little secret, a huge percentage of drug users were abused as children.

Funny who is calling who a moron when you won’t admit that limiting supply increases demand which in turn prices said item out of reach of a majority of the market. Jesus your TDS has rotted you brain you dumbfrick!

How has attacking the supply side worked????

We have never treated this as a war on drugs. I hate that term and I spent 18 months training and then doing it in the late 90’s. It was never a war it was a police action being micromanaged by a bunch of DoS It was never a war; it was a police action being micromanaged by a bunch of DoS bureaucrats. So to answer your question….No we have never really attacked the supply side.

We will never stop the flow of drugs however in this case fentanyl is the problem and the goal should be to destroy enough supply that the cost to the cartels make it where they decide to stop moving fentanyl and go back to moving purer party drugs. No fentanyl means drastic drop in ODs which means government goes back to not caring about drugs.

People like Bunk like to label every person who does a drug a worthless junkie and completely ignore the thousands of cases of teens and college students who partake in a line of coke or ecstasy pill at a party and end up getting a lethal dose of fentanyl. Those people had their whole lives ahead of them and while doing drugs was dumb young people always have and always will make dumb decisions.

Very true and what people are failing to understand who brought the fentanyl to the Cartels in the first place. It is a National Security concern and 100% intentional.

Dont care, dont live there.

But I could help fix their issues. Stop allowing homeless to sleep on city streets and stop feeding them.

Attacking supply has never ended or severely limited supply. Not one time.

Because a new one pops up overnight.

This is true when the end result is prison terms instead of being vaporized.

Remember I did the actual fighting in the “War on Drugs” and was the biggest critic because it was a war in name only. They were not afraid of us because we treated it like a police action.

Just pay the Cartels more than they currently make to keep drugs and illegals from the American border.

It would be more effective and probably cheaper than the alternative.
