Could see this as: the message being sent, is the FBI etc better capitulate now, unless they want the drip drip drip to become a flood that could forever damage the reputation, ethics, power, etc of the department and country.

Lots of interesting stuff going on b/t this and the sorghum stuff in China.

I'd love to see the dem's reaction if this turned out to be the case. They've been pointing to him for supposedly staying bipartisan, but it would be a colossal move if he was suddenly on the attack again.

Hell I can't stay off the news and the poli board as it is now. I hardly ever came here before last week, and it will be even worse when the dogs are finally let loose on the trash.

why are they being released in the drip drip drip manner that we're seeing?

To build up the public outrage.

If the release it in one day the story will be buried in a week. This is more political than legal. The law makers and enforcers need motivation to prosecute and/or take action. That motivation comes from public outrage. If there is no public outrage the crimes will be swept under the rug.

You haven't figured out that Congress as a whole can't do anything to anyone.

Every investigation is a farce.

How dare Congressman Gowdy investigate! It's as if he thinks Congress actually has the authority to provide oversight!

Poor old Jason Herring was in a tough spot in that interview. He obviously didn't want to turn over the 302's to Gowdy, which comports with Strzok's text messages where he mentioned how they hadn't turned them over because they would "inflame Congress."

Strzok put a lot of effort into trying to look cool to an ugly woman.

he was told to say "I'm not answering that."

By whom, I wonder? And what is the reasoning? I'd like to see the transcript of that conversation. And how do these two nitwits know about it?

Is this the Hillary interview or is it related to the weiner emails?

I've long believed Chaffetz knew, like Giulani, that the emails were going to drop, and Chaffetz also appeared to know Comey was going to examine re-opening the investigation.

Interviews and 702 stonewalling. He makes the point that if, as private defense attorneys, individual members can have access to 702's to represent his or her client, why isn't Congress entitled to them to conduct overnight.
