It just makes our country's athletes look detached from reality.
I mean, the Olympics are on a global scale.. and there are literal genocides happening right now in the world. There is legit oppression of women. There are active slave markets right now. But our athletes are using that global platform to bitch about problems we've already solved. Making our entire country look like a bunch of self absorbed retards.

The IOC agreed to this because most of the athletes from their Countries will not kneel or protest, but they know America’s athletes will.

I can’t wait until the day all sports go bankrupt. There was once a time when families got together to enjoy sporting events. Now families do their best to avoid them. Most even got rid of cable because of it. Good job you idiot athletes.
