Most of the men and women I know who have fought for our flag don't find this disrespectful. The exact opposite actually. The idea that they should be forced to stand is much more disrespectful.

I am certainly not against the right of these players to protest, nor do I want to force anyone to stand.
I just pointed out their lack of knowledge and their sense of timing. Protesting by disrespecting the flag that thousands of blacks and whites fought under to end the Confederate rebellion and slavery just doesn't make any sense at all
instead they blindly followed the NFL players to be cool.
