Why are people holding a Confederate march in 2019?

Good for the Ole Miss players.

What blacks killing blacks purpose.
Where is the kneeling or the protesting for that?

I imagine that's ok since it's blacks doing it

I get why they did it. GTFO with your confederacy bullshite. The rebels lost. Get over it. A group of black kids bringing in money for the university playing basketball shouldn't put up with that crap on campus.

And yet they decided to become Rebels

Are you that dense?

They knelt during the anthem. When asked about it they said they were protesting haters on their campus.

All I did was point out the irony of the situation.

So the flag that defeated the Confederacy they are kneeling for.

Makes about as much sense as the real social injustice protest these days.

That would imply that they were leading the game and running out the clock. Is that what you meant? I don't think that is what you meant.

Frick you! Mizzou is back baws. We’ve tamped that SJW shite down, no more Johnathan Butlers leading naive students astray. We just need to get a fair and favorable ruling on those bogus NCAA sanctions.

No here again they don't have freedom to do as they wish as scholorship athlete representatives with a platform the school and NCAA has provided them. They make the choice to follow the rules the school sets out for their conduct and in turn must accept any disciplinary sanctions put on them.

There are limits to behavior in these settings and one could go through a whole vast list of unacceptable displays that these athletes are absolutely not entitled to partake in that are legal in the eyes of the law but not acceptable as representatives of the school. Do these athletes have the ability to flaunt the rules of the game they are about to play in and not expect punishment? The law can't punish their rule breaking in a game unless there is violence involved but the powers that be can certainly punish them therefore they do NOT have a carte blanche to behave as they wish. How about athletes having the "freedom" to criticize the refs and not expect punishment for that? They know if they do that they will be punished so no they don't have absolute freedom to express themselves at all and expect to stay in good standing with their respective school, conference, or NCAA.

Yes, they absolutely do. Freedom doesn't mean freedom from consequences.

Where did I say otherwise? I said they ran the risk of facing sanctions for their actions even if the law couldn't do anything about them. Re-read the post and don't be so hasty to spew a retort.
