Ole Miss players kneel during national anthem today

to protest a Confederate march on campus.
How is disrespecting the flag that thousands of men fought and died under in a successful effort to defeat the Confederacy make any sense?

It wasn't a "Confederate" march - it was about a statue. The press really is full of dishonest idiots.

I’m sure they have been wanting to do that for a long time. The confederate march just gave them a reason to do it without getting in any trouble for it.

The American flag is the solution to the Confederate issue. They protest the solution to the problem.

Look it was a march from the memeoroal in the circle to the square in Oxford. Oxford and the University has their hands tied. 1 player kneeled and a few other players kneeled with them. It was using the 1 st amendment to fight the 1 st amendment using hate and racism on campus. It was a 1 time deal to make a specific peaceful statement. It wasn’t and isn’t a big deal. frick the KKK and frick the idea that cops are killing blacks on purpose. This was about the KKK on campus and that’s it.
