Thank goodness we still have some smart voters. We voted against inflation and AI. And voted for small businesses.

FOR THE PROPOSAL - YES 280,845
44.62% 44.62% Of Vote

AGAINST THE PROPOSAL - NO 348,563
55.38% 55.38% Of Vote

Still too many yes votes for my liking

Strange, man.

So Oklahomans prefer their residents relying on government assistance than earning a competitive wage to be able to provide for their families.

Oklahoma... is one place I choose never to even visit

They’ll just work the hours required to keep their benefits without breaking the threshold.

I'm all against minimum wage laws, but what exactly does this have to do with the ultra scary AI data center, as opposed to any other random data center that would love to locate itself in tornado alley? None of those contractors are making minimum wage.

Firstly, great don’t come here we don’t want commies. Thank you for not coming and infecting minds.

Secondly, min wage jobs are not supposed to be your final job its “entry level”. Get experience and move out or up. By time you have family you should have already moved on.

And as proven in Cali, increased min wage only decreases jobs and moves them to AI.

Stay away from OK, you are not welcome

Where in the frick did I mention data centers? Jeez dude “lear” to read. AI as in machines to replace humans like order taking and other such technology. There is a price point where its cheaper to use AI for such jobs but we’re not there yet and hope to keep it that way longer.

Probably want to wait until you’ve moved on from Burger King before you start a family.

You think you're clever. You're not. Texas will strip mine the talent from Oklahoma. 30 an hour is nothing now. You thinking 15 is some excessive mountain tells me everything I need to know about you

Entry level jobs get entry level pay. Don't have kids when you're an entry level employee. Better yet if they're so smart they can start a business and let's see them work around the clock, take all the risk and we'll see how they pay their employees.

So back to his question, why stop at 15? Why not go to 30, or 50?

There are lots of poor republicans that, like democrats, were indoctrinated to vote red or blue no matter what by their bunk families.

Bottom line, almost all are slaves to the dollar bill yall. Only a select few of us don’t give a frick about handouts or reliance on others.

What sone people dont realize, if they jack up minimum wage the cost of living will go up dramatically which in turn will drive future business to other states.

Common sense econ 1001 that most people are too stupid to figure out.

Florida and other Southern states have already voted to increase their min wage to $15 and have only attracted more jobs

Did I stumble into a thread about bringing back manufacturing jobs from overseas?
