What specific national lockdowns did Trump put in place that caused this dip?

So you’re not in the industry. Understood. Maybe you should back out and let the adults discuss this one.

Oil was freaking negative at one point then this shite began.

Trumps been gone A YEAR. A YEARRRRRR! They have been predicting 100 dollar oil for months now.

What has Biden done to encourage us to get the oil taps back open since he took office? Name one. Not the reserve. Our own obtainable well supply.

Now do what he has discouraged.

Sorry you now has the sads.

You do realize that Biden blocked all the policies that Trump had used to drive up supply this prohibiting any recovery don’t you?

Nothing Biden has done has kept US domestic production at 11.5 mm bbl/d for the last year. Please enlighten us what Biden did to prevent oil companies from turning on DUC (drilled uncompleted) wells? There are over 4800 of them in the country waiting to be turned online, how is Biden stopping this?

How is that rich? Trump shut down the entire economy and handed everyone thousands of dollars and people are wondering why there are supply issues in every industry in the country

Yes, there are multiple factors, but Biden is not helping the situation at all.

Can you find me any country that has improved their oil price situation?

The oil market crashed in 2014, was that because of Obama?

I thought we released all that oil from the strategic reserves.

quote:

The Department of Energy will release 50 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, according to the White House -- the largest release from the reserve in US history, Biden said. Biden on Tuesday noted that the administration's actions "will not solve the problem of high gas prices overnight." "It will take time, but before long, you should see the price of gas drop where you fill up your tank," he said during his remarks. "And in the longer term, we will reduce our reliance on oil as we shift to clean energy."

There is around 600mm barrels of crude oil in the Strategic Petroleum reserve, which is more than what is available in the commercial reserves, which are the first two line items in this report
