False equivalency.
It’s not about selling books. It’s about the process of capturing a candidate then that candidate becoming a puppet. Selling books is only a step in that process.
With that said, I know it’s difficult for a politician with zero personal wealth to turn down such attractive offers.

It's Harper Collins, one of the biggest publishers. You wrote a whole hell of a lot to say "Desantis has a book deal with one of the biggest publishers" and try to make it more sinister than that.
