There’s some substance to that, and it’s because I’ve recently been reading about the rise of both Nazism and Communism, and some radical behavior from both sides greatly reminds me of them and disturbs me. No I don’t think Trumpkins are genocidal lunatics, but they turn maniacal when anyone dare questions the leader. That’s where my comparison lies. Aside from being a come from behind victory, having anger issues, and is a cult of personality, Trump and Hitler don’t have anything in common, but it’s the behavior of his biggest fans and opponents that makes me draw a comparison to those two evil ideologies.

I am not celebrating McCain’s death, but I did not like his character or politics long before Trump ran for POTUS. I have been voting for Republican candidates since 1972 when I was 21 (requirement age, I wish we would go back to). McCain is the only Republican Presidential candidate for which I did not vote.

It blows me away that no matter what Trump says, no matter how he bends the truth (alternative facts), I can come to this forum and sure enough one of his minions will start a thread explaining what Trump meant to say.
That kind of mindset is dangerous and can lead to very bad things.
It's the exact same mindset most on this forum use to accuse Obamabots of.
