- 30 cents on every dollar raised this year has been spent on legal related costs.

- Through the first six months of this year, Trump has spent $27 million on legal and investigation related bills.

- Trump has eight law firms he has paid at least $1 million dollars to each for his defense. Fees are expected to skyrocket as the overlapping cases start working their ways toward the court.

- The campaign is being forced to tap into money or raised in previous years to fund his legal defenses.

- All of Trump’s political committees have brought in $67.2 million so far this year, but he has spent $90 million since January.

- 40% of every dollar Trump raised this year came in the two one week periods after new indictments were brought forward, with donations falling precipitously the further from an indictment he got.

- Trump took in less than half in the first week after his second indictment than he did in the first week after his first indictment ($13 million vs $5.5 million).

- Trump’s campaign has cut back on the rallies he throws since they cost $300,000 per rally and the campaign is faced with the reality of needing to save money.

Do you care about actual issues in the upcoming election? Trump’s focus is to get your campaign contributions so he can keep himself out of jail, if even possible.

Spending other peoples' money out of office like he did while in office. At least he's doing it for free!

This was the uniparty's strategy...yet some of you dupes still think they are doing it to help him get the nomination.

His opponent’s plan is to wage lawfare and put him in jail. So I think lawyers are a legitimate campaign expense under these circumstances.

It's not called Lawfare for nothing. Often times the process is the punishment.

No shite?

Are you paying attention to the news?

Of course he is spending a lot of money on lawyers. You would have to be really dull to believe otherwise.

You’re right.

He should just let the uniparty put him in jail.

Were he not running for President then his legal fees would be zero because there would be no weaponized witch hunts. I have no problem with his using campaign contributions for legal fees.

It’s incredible how this man convinced so many the system was corrupt and not him.

While it doesn't change the fact that he is being politically persecuted, it's still a huge problem if he wins the nomination

They won't care though

Desantis already has lawsuits against him and its not even revved up on him yet.

So no I dont care because they will do the same to anyone that hurts their cash flow.

The FBI and DOJ are totally corrupt, but he is also a reckless idiot that brought some of this on himself. He would be in a lot better position if he didn't act like a retard after the election.

This post appears to be evidence of a defensive posture of a unipartist who benefits from government grift. God forbid we elect a populous president that has Americans as his first priority.

Uhh. There is zero denying the system is corrupt. It doesn’t take anyone doing any convincing to make a sane person see that. There are examples galore.

Bankrupting your opponents is an often used Marxist technique.

There are plenty of reasons to be wary of or dislike Trump. Having to fight bullshite legal battles at the hands of a corrupt and power drunk federal government is not one of them.
