Goodell is always finding new ways to either frick up the game or teams. Hands down the worse NFL commissioner. He's diluted the game and is turning the NFL into circus whose players are reminiscent of guests in the Jerry Springer show except the Jerry Springer show was more entertaining.

Popovich is a BASKETBALL COACH. He won championships but keep it in perspective. The guy is a BASKETBALL COACH. He's not the foremost expert of public policy or economic planning. Let him be a cry baby, its fine.

Good riddance. If some disagreement is going to result in you people quitting and sulking, you're no better than the melting liberals you condemn.

I was enjoying this board in the wake of the election, but you're all a bunch of whiners lately. Boohoo person X disagrees with me, let's boycott.

I enjoy sports because it's a reprieve from politics and the rest of the world

Even that has slowly been corrupted

Depends really. If he says he disagrees with Trump, thats one thing, but its another thing to actually try and call out the people that voted for him as if they're exactly what hes heard in the media. That's fine, I'm sure latinos are plentiful enough in San Antonio to get to the games.

In all respect, you don't understand that professional sports is a product. Commentary is a part of the product. That commentary can taint the rest of the experience.

It's not the politics for me so much as the realization that I generally don't like the assholes playing.

Let's be honest, most of them wouldn't like me and the feeling is mutual

Pretty easy for me. Other than the occasional Dr. Pepper the only ones on that list I use are Microsoft, cause let's face it that's inescapable and Ford.

And that's because nobody else makes a decent truck.

I just think it is ridiculous to read people like Coach Pop saying that our kids would be grounded for a long time if they said the things that Trump said. Guess what Pop? Your kids would be in prison getting arse raped for doing the things that Hillary did!

I cannot believe how blind people are and how accepting they are of the things that Hillary has done.

I know guys like Pop and Goddell make their millions off of Hillary supporters but really? Leave the propaganda BS up the the media and just coach your game.

I am beginning to be in favor of taxing these 1-percenters 100% (with no loopholes), starting with celebrities and professional athletes.

Just like all working people with obligations, I don't have the ability to protest the protesters. But what I can do is not give my hard earned money to fricking assholes who think we are what is wrong with the good old USA!

None of these people understand us regular people, or the challenges we face everyday. They don't want to know or understand why we supported Trump. They just want to be the "oh so tolerant" people they are and label us.

But you're basic arguing that they if they have one, they must cancel their cable packages; ESPN and TNT are usually included, not to mention ABC, NBC, Fox, and CBS are regular channels.

Nope. You go after companies that advertise. See Glenn Beck.

I would guess many people use more Procter and Gamble products than any other company in that list. And luckily they sold some of their brands (Folgers, Pringles, JIF, Duracell, Iams) or it would be even more.

That said, it's really hard to not use one of their many products. Procter and Gamble

Are you comparing the advertisements of an obscure political pundit, long past his peak popularity to the advertisements of the NBA and NFL.

You'll waste a lot of time and money trying to avoid the brands, and it would almost certainly be ineffective since they usually are anyways; not to mention, this would be a lot more obscure anyways.

These POS celebrities and athletes (and coaches) jump on to their soapbox they are awarded according to their entertainment exploits, they talk to the public like they understand the everyday working man, then they step off, get into their $100,000 vehicle, drive to their $1.5 million home and enjoy their several million dollar paychecks. I am dumbfounded why we still give these people the time or day. I hope this election sheds some light on their bullshite. They should be the LAST voices we hear from because THEY'RE NOT THE ONES BEING FORGOTTEN.

frick all celebrities, and I hope they all leave the country. PLEASE LET THEM GO. Theres PLENTY more where they came from, they're not as unique as they think they are.

A lot of them went through some serious challenges. But they grow up dirt poor, spend a year or two in college where they don't really earn or have to spend money, then make an insane amount of money. They don't understand how their own finances work, much less the economy in general. That's why so many go bankrupt after making more money in 1-4 years than a lot of us will make in a lifetime.

If you so choose. I'm in it for the basketball and nothing else; nothing is stopping you from doing the same. But hey, I'm no one to tell you what to do with your time and money.
