Iran wants "friends" in the Gulf States in the same way that Ramsay Bolton wanted Theon Greyjoy as a "friend." Sadly, most of the other Gulf States besides the UAE seem inclined to be that kind of friend. AFAIK, the Saudis have yet to fire a shot in anger at Iran after all the bombing they've received. Saudi Arabia's reputation is a major Middle East power has been basically ruined.

They want to share a “sausage” with them?

In the long run I think the IRGC will make this decision for us.

The hardliners don't want to give up and there appears to be enough of them still alive where they are still pulling the levers within Iran.

Something big is happening or is about to blow up.

President Donald Trump has just abruptly left the White House celebration of Greece's Independence Day.

In his unmistakable style, he dropped:
"I'm supposed to be somewhere at 5 o'clock... No way am I missing it!"

???????? This isn't just any exit. When Trump leaves an event like this, with that phrase, the clock is ticking. Something important is calling him... and everything points to it being memorable.

Seems to be a joint UAE-US attack, presumably as delayed retaliation for Iran's bombing yesterday.
