"Because Iran primarily settles its oil sales in Chinese yuan, these exchange houses play a critical role in converting oil revenues into currencies that are more readily useable by the Iranian military and its partners and proxies."
BESSENT: "Iran is the head of the snake for global terrorism, and under President Trump’s leadership, Treasury is moving aggressively, through Economic Fury, to sever the Iranian military’s financial lifelines."
“We will relentlessly target the regime’s ability to generate, move, and repatriate funds, and pursue anyone enabling Tehran’s attempts to evade sanctions."
Bessent has been crushing it lately! Economic Fury in full swing

But right now we have a huge group of people opposing action against Iran who agree that:
1) Iran helped kill a bunch of Israelis on 10/7
2) Agree Iran was pursuing a nuclear weapon
3) Agree Iran has used proxies across the middle east to kill people
4) Agree Iran was pursuing a ballistic missile defense deterrent to protect #2
5 Agree that Iran supplies drones to Russia to kill Ukrainians
6) Agree that Iran leads a society that treats people, especially women like shite
7) Agree that Iran killed approximately 20-40,000 people 3 months ago
Don't forget #8.
8) Agree that Orange Man Bad
In their minds, #8 trumps #1-7.

Q: "Do you want to go blast the hell out of them?"
TRUMP: "I'd prefer not. On a human basis, I'd prefer not. But that's the option. Do we want to go in there heavy and just blast them away? Or do we want to do something? They're a very disjointed leadership, as you can understand, Peter, very disjointed."
"I mean, they, they're not getting along with each other. And it puts us in a bad position. One group wants to make a certain deal."
"The other group wants to make a certain deal, including the hardliners. The hardliners want to make a deal too. Why wouldn't they? They have no Navy. They have no airports. They have no anti-aircraft. They have, they have no nothing."

Anybody that feels it's okay for Iran to have a nuclear weapon is not very smart. And it will be a terrible thing in the future. If they were ever allowed to have a nuclear weapon, you would have problems the likes of which the world has never seen before!"
"And it's not going to happen.

For the last decade I was hearing about all the drilling activity in UAE and didn't think anything of it. A client who make modified starch polymers for water based drilling fluid has had to lease warehouse space in UAE to supply the company's largest market. I hadn't realized that UAE could produce that much oil.
The country can easily produce 4 million BPD. They have increased production capacity in spite of quotas from OPEC. No wonder they left it and have been planning to do so for years. Also, early if not the first into the Abrahams Accords.

Don't we have nukes in both of those countries. How about lets bring them home and tell them they are on their own if they get attacked.

The regime in Iran is saying it is a result of trying to dispose of unexploded ordinance. It could be a targeted drone strike, small attempted coup or just internal eliminations.

China owns much of the Fashion Industry in Milan. They also own lots of factories in China and use Chinese labor, why the Chyna Virus hit there first in Europe.

OK, I’ll go along. But, I go along with a memory, and that memory includes the reality that we were in Afghanistan for two decades to eradicate the lil Taliban, and we were led by those same commanders in charge of strategic planning.
Decades of NATION BUILDING, but you obviously didn't get that part.
How old are you? 12?
No, but any 12 year old would tell you that we departed Afghanistan with the Taliban in charge.

Fourteen members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were killed and two others wounded during an unexploded ordnance clearance operation in Iran’s Zanjan province, the provincial IRGC said.
The IRGC’s Ansar al-Mahdi unit in Zanjan said demolition teams had entered a contaminated area to identify and neutralize unexploded munitions left from recent airstrikes when the deadly explosion happened on Friday.

First, Obama's "agreement" basically gave Iran unlimited cash to harden their terror proxy network and stockpile ballistic missiles while simply delaying the inevitable — large-scale LEGAL enrichment with zero breakout time and the military power to use it.
Second, Iran's real enrichment acceleration happened under Biden because he was WEAK — loosening sanctions, easing pressure, and working to reopen their pathway to a legal nuclear program.
Instead of legitimizing Iran's nuclear weapons program, President Trump is focused on ending it.

It is very difficult for rats in a sewer pipe to know what’s going on in the outside world. Some color for the Iranian Leadership as they literally sit in the dark:
1. The United States has complete control of the Strait of Hormuz.
2. There is a hard currency, i.e. U.S. dollar, shortage.
3. Food and gasoline rationing are in place.
4. The entire international community has turned against you.
5. The BLOCKADE will continue, until there is pre-February 27 Freedom of Navigation.

Thanks for posting. I've been wanting to see maps like this for the Gulf region, including Iran.
