So that's what I'm waiting to see. How far do we go to enforce this blockade? If a Chinese ship decides to test it do we really sink it?

That ship left from a port in the UAE
I thought the blockade was only for Iranian ports?

The first signs of the U.S. blockade are emerging as vessels turn away from the Strait of Hormuz. Windward intelligence has identified two key turnarounds at the deadline:
• A U.S.-sanctioned, falsely flagged laden tanker reversed course at 12:47 UTC, just over an hour before the blockade.
• An EU/OFAC-sanctioned, falsely flagged vessel turned around at 14:00 UTC, exactly as enforcement began.
These immediate maneuvers signal a high-stakes shift in transit behavior as the blockade takes effect

More than 100 oil tankers from various countries now head to the US gulf coast as blockade begins. It was never about nukes or regime change.

Bahrain has intercepted 7 Iranian drones in the last 24 hours.
Clear breach of the ceasefire.
And for the Iran sympathizers, American ships are in range for the Iranians, why are they attacking Bahrain? Because Iran is a terrorist regime, and they are seeking the distraction of the GCC and no one else.

Sen. Tom Cotton warns of immediate U.S. response to Iranian port attacks
U.S. Senator Tom Cotton warned that any Iranian attack on ports in Saudi Arabia or the United Arab Emirates would be considered a violation of the ceasefire.
He said such an attack would trigger an immediate U.S. military response, underscoring growing concerns about escalation targeting critical Gulf infrastructure.

I wonder how certain it is that, when all was said and done, the Chinese were getting a substantial discount on Iranian crude. They were also shipping a lot of stuff back to Iran and possibly giving them technology to strengthen their munitions. China seems to think they gain advantage from a strong militant regime operating in the middle east and other places, so maybe there were some favors going both directions.

If any deal is made that leaves the IRGC/Islamic Republic in power, this whole thing has been a failure IMO. The Iranian people deserve better from the outside world IMO.
You cannot trust those 7th century barbarians to keep any word they give you. Cut the cancer out and you'll never have to worry about this again.

China, Russia, the US, Iran, militia, terrorist cells, nuclear weapons, ballistic missiles, currencies, oil. They're all mixed together in this. About the only useless theory being bandied about is the one we've heard repeatedly from the pro-regime propagandists (inside and outside Iran): "Bibi" controls Trump.

Because a ceasfire was called. I'm sure if we were still bombing them, he would have been eliminated by now. We tasked Israel with taking out the leadership while we went after the military targets. Mossad would have found him eventually and guide a bomb onto him.

Trump fired back with a BRUTAL one-liner that ended the conversation.
Here’s how the exchange went:
STØRE: “Dear Mr. President, dear Donald: We believe we all should work to take this down and de-escalate.”
TRUMP: “Considering your country decided not to give me the Nobel Peace Prize for having stopped 8 wars plus, I no longer feel an obligation to think purely of peace.”
