IRGC intelligence chief Major General Majid Khademi was killed overnight, a senior Israeli official told Fox News. “Khademi wasn’t just any figure, he was effectively number two within the IRGC, one of the few senior commanders who managed to survive multiple waves of Israeli and American targeting over the past year,” the official added.

According to the same diplomat, the prevailing assessment within the ayatollah regime is that it can sustain a prolonged conflict and inflict even heavier damage on Israel, the United States, and regional countries.

Yeah, they're betting on TACO. I think that's a very bad bet.

So, we're going to have to truly crush the regime. Because this war absolutely, positively cannot end with Iran still in control of its uranium, nor can it end with the regime controlling the Strait and charging tolls to pass.

Get ready for gas prices to go higher, because we're going to have to take the regime's money away from them.

I saw a story about some relatives of high-level Iranians living in the US as "permanent residents", and Rubio revoked their status and deported them.

Not sure how many militia came in over the last few weeks but hopefully we are taking them out just as much as we took out the Guard and Basij.

Ultimately their coming in proves the regime can only hold on by force at this point.

Every dead hard liner is one less to cause the world problems in the future.

Yeah, this war is abou more than Iran: it's about fixing almost all of the problems in the Middle East. It's about getting rid of Hezbollah in Lebanon, the PMF and Kaitab Hezbollah in Iraq, the Houthis in Yemen, and (of course) Hamas.

When the Iranian theocracy is removed, most of the other problems in the region disappear.

Is this part of the negotiations?

It amazes me that after 10 years of Trump being in the political sphere that there are those among us who still fail to realize when Trump intentionally plays up the crazy lunatic role.. The psychology is simple, unlike the lunatics in Iran who hide underground and issue threats they can’t really back up, “lunatic Trump” can’t simply be dismissed. He has the most advanced military and weaponry in the history of the world at his fingertips. If he says Tuesday is bridge and power plant day, you have to believe he isn’t bluffing. On the flip side, you absolutely have to believe the IDF will destroy these things and not bat an eye.

Iranian official to Reuters: Tehran has received Pakistan's proposal and is reviewing it; it will not accept deadlines or any pressure. Tehran will not reopen the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for a temporary ceasefire.
Pakistan’s proposed two-phase deal

1) Immediate Phase
• Ceasefire starts right away.
• Strait of Hormuz reopens immediately (key for global oil).

2) Follow-up Phase (15–20 days)
• Final comprehensive peace deal negotiated.
• Tentatively called the “Islamabad Accord”.

The final deal may include:
• Iran agrees to limits on nuclear program (no weapons).

In return:
• Sanctions relief.
• Release of frozen assets.
• Broader regional framework for Hormuz security.

Source: Reuters

yea good luck with that Iran

I don’t see any way to proceed without an actual regime change. They will now see obtaining a nuke as an existential deterrent and the only way to guarantee their survival. They already did before but didn’t have the Seoul threat to actually get them to that final step like North Korea did.

I don’t know how to guarantee the regime will fall but assassination missions will add up pretty significantly over time. Plus taking out checkpoints and any group of soldiers. At some point Iranian people will need to step up.

Iran has two choices.

1. Open the Straits and surrender.

2. FAFO 2.0

It's been a few days now and regime change has happened... is the war over yet?
