French President Macron on the Strait of Hormuz:
“Opening it by force is not the option we have chosen, we consider it unrealistic.
A military operation would take an infinite amount of time and expose forces to immense coastal and ballistic risks.
Confirmed. Mrs. Macron has the bigger balls in that fam.

People who use the word calculus to explain a non-math thought in an effort to sound smart actually sound like idiots.

I'm not MAGA, I'm not a Trumpist *at all*. But it takes courage to separate the man from the decision. Marco Rubio is right.
Let's recall the facts: Iran possessed 408 kg of uranium enriched to 60%. A study published in 2025 in Science & Global Security (a peer-reviewed academic journal, not Washingtonian propaganda) demonstrates that with this stock, without further enrichment, the regime was technically capable of producing a nuclear weapon with a yield of 2 to 3 kilotons. With boosting or a gun-type design, the estimates rise to more than 10 kt.
The Islamic Republic has never hidden its intentions. It has funded Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis. It has organized assassinations on European soil. It has taken Western hostages to use them as diplomatic bargaining chips. And it was enriching uranium at breakneck speed, responding to each IAEA resolution with an acceleration of its program.
Letting this regime with its apocalyptic vision cross the nuclear threshold was not an option. Not with this doctrine. Not with this track record!
Our legitimate hatred of Trump cannot make us blind to this reality. Confusing the author of a just decision with the decision itself is exactly the kind of reasoning error that the defenders of the Islamic regime hope to see us make.

NEW HERE: It's not just Gen. Randy George who's on the way out.
Defense officials tell me and @TaraCopp that Hegseth's team also is removing:
Gen. David Hodne, a former Army Ranger who leads the services Transformation and Training Command
Maj. Gen. William Green Jr., head of the Army's chaplain corps
Hodne's command was created under George's watch, while Hegseth has sought recently to overhaul how military chaplains operate.

Tucker Carlson makes less sense every day
Trump said Iran war is short compared to others, Tucker said:
"1st or 2nd World Wars or Vietnam ...began with similar promises– This won't last long, Back by Fall"
WHAT? No one said that. "Back by Fall" was the German Kaiser. But Tucker does tend to identify with our enemies these days.
President Wilson WWI:
"We are now about to accept gauge of battle with this natural foe to liberty and shall, if necessary, spend the whole force of the nation to check and nullify its pretensions and its power."
President Roosevelt WWII
No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated invasion"
President Johnson Vietnam:
"“We have learned at a terrible and a brutal cost that retreat does not bring safety and weakness does not bring peace… We will stand in Vietnam.”
I don't have time to detail all the wrongness in Tucker's daily embarrassments. He is no longer even living in the same world with the rest of us.
But koo koo is clicks and there is an audience for those things. Forget that 30 seconds asking your phone will show you the absolute falsity. Post the smear and watch the mobs light their torches and grab their pitchforks.
