Opening it by bribing Iran not to attack us, the French, in the future while we sit back and do nothing about future terrorist activities of the Iranian regime...That's the option we are likely to choose.

And if that's the option they choose...fricking eliminate Kharg Island.

The entire world has been reminded, even dimtards on here, that the Iranian regime is a thug terrorist regime and must be dealt with accordingly or face the consequences. I would say that definitely makes them more vulnerable and weaker because there will be less tolerance for their shenanigans.

How does one make peace with a regime that has no interest in peace in that region and hasn't for quite sometime, if ever

It is an Imperialistic regime - at least in that region. Absent oil; no one WGAF.. happens all the time. This is not the case and our so called non-ME partners - Europe - have been neutered because of their own silliness in domestic matters; resulting in compromising in foreign affairs

A New Order is emerging, out from under the burden of Europe -- long, long overdue... bitch about helping Israel and give Europe a pass for the past 100 plus years....laughable

Rubio is correct - get off our couch and put the cookies purchased by us back where they belong

Alexander the Great also beat that Iranian arse. Seems like they've been kicked around a bit, but they are old, so a lot of history.
Now President Trump joins the list, and quickly at that.

The only guarantee that Iran won't continue to try to get nukes is full regime change. Anything else is a false hope provided by compulsive liars.

They’re effectively down to the announcement of eliminating the equivalent of a neighborhood aldermen.

That’s either a really good sign …or a really bad omen.

BREAKING: Russia, China, and France are blocking an Arab-backed push at the UN Security Council to authorize military action against Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, per NYT.

According to diplomats, the three veto powers oppose any resolution language that would permit the use of force.

Today, I was roaming around the city level for about 9 hours; the number of checkpoints has decreased significantly, and the people inside the checkpoints have all changed too. Their appearance has shifted from that of military cadres to a bunch of ragtag terrorists in mismatched clothes, with keffiyeh-wrapped faces and Kalashnikovs in hand. Almost no professional forces were visible, and most were either elderly and overweight folks or underage kids and fledgling Basijis. The state of their equipment and logistics is disastrous—from 2026 Hiluxes down to rusty, war-era Land Cruisers from the '80s and '90s that were mostly decayed and retired.

In short, the Islamic Republic has scraped the bottom of the barrel, its lifespan has shrunk to 24 hours, and it has no clue about what the next 48 hours will bring!

Once again, it seems that big gift Trump got was really "just" an address book.

There’s evidence that Hezbollah helped train Al-Qaeda on bomb making.

Hmmm….I wonder who has historically financed Hezbollah? Provided technology and intelligence?

Who could it be?

Hmmm…

I haven't seen any reporting on this yet, but it appears that a munitions bunker complex at the Khatami Military Airbase (adjacent to Shahid Beheshti Airport) in Esfahan was struck recently. Additionally, underground fuel storage tanks at the base appear also to be on fire.

NASA's FIRMS, along with satellite imagery from today, indicate significant fires within the bunker complex and the fuel storage facilities.
