Food for thought.
Trump’s confrontation with Iran isn’t about Tehran, it’s a message to the City of London, Beijing, Brussels, and the world. By controlling Gulf oil routes and dollar flows, Washington is reasserting dominance over the global energy order. The new Great Game has begun, and America is showing it still sets the rules.

Trump to the New York Post: I think that if the Strait of Hormuz opens automatically, it means the war will end, but my approach is that I will wipe out Iran. They have no power left, and let the countries that use the strait go ahead and open it... because I imagine whoever controls the oil would be very happy to do so.

No surprise but still a violation of the laws of armed conflict that should be called out, the use of protected sites and population for military purposes - human shielding.
No way they would run ops through a school either.

Something to keep an eye on.

Iran threatens to target US tech companies, urges evacuations
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has threatened to target US tech companies operating in the region, urging employees and people living nearby to evacuate immediately.
“Since the main element in designing and tracking terrorist targets are American and ICT and AI companies … from now on, [these] main institutions will be our legitimate targets,” it said in a statement relayed by Iran’s Tasnim news agency.
The IRGC said more than 15 companies will be targeted, including Boeing, Tesla, Meta, Google and Apple, from 8pm local time tomorrow if more Iranians leaders are killed in “targeted assassinations”.

Their desperation grows. They need pressure from within the US to try and avoid annihilation.

Trump on Iran nuclear capabilities: “I don’t even think about it. I just know that, you know, that’s so deeply buried it’s gonna be very hard for anybody. And we – we’ve watched it for – you know, since the attack, we’ve watched it. And at least I think finally people admit it was obliteration. It’s down there deep. And they haven’t been able to do it. You know, even without a war they haven’t been able to do it. So it’s pretty – it’s pretty – it’s pretty safe. But, you know, we’ll make a determination."
Is Trump saying the nuclear material we are worried about is buried under a mountain of rubble?

JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon just dropped an UNEXPECTED take on Iran.
“It’s much more important that this be successfully completed, than what the market does.”
Dimon says the markets are unpredictable right now, but regardless, EVERYONE should be hoping for Trump to succeed in Iran.
DIMON: “I think the market...you know, markets are unpredictable and it’s hard for me to tell you exactly what.”
“But I think they’re just looking at is there a chance something can go wrong?”
“Now we should all hope nothing goes wrong. We should all hope that these bad people are...you know, that we win this thing and clean up straits and that Iran is no longer a threat to anybody.”
“The markets will be concerned until it is over.”
“But I think it’s VERY important...it’s much MORE important that this be successfully completed than what the market does.”
Wall Street’s most powerful CEO just said winning in Iran is more important than the what stock market does in the short term.

As the IRGC and Basij death forces are being decimated, life is returning across Iran.
- Water is coming back.
- The air is clearing.
- Years of damage are reversing.
Lake Urmia, once on the brink after years of severe drying, is showing signs of recovery - boating is even possible again.
In Tehran, one of the world’s most polluted cities, the sky is becoming clearer and more breathable.
Life is pushing back against the Khameneist death cult.

This post by Trump is pre-framing what's to come. Read along and you'll start to see it too.
When Trump tells the UK to "go to the Strait and just TAKE IT," the surface read is that he's venting at allies who didn't show up.
But the deeper move is priming the the public (and world) with a new mental frame: the Strait of Hormuz is not Iranian sovereign territory anymore.
It's available real estate. It's takeable. Anyone with courage can have it.
That's a massive Overton Window shift delivered, in a tweet, as an insult to the UK.
A year ago "America controls the Strait of Hormuz" sounded like some twisted fantasy. Today Trump is telling Britain to go grab it themselves like it's a parking spot.
In a few weeks, Trump has normalized the concept of Western control over the Strait so thoroughly that full US seizure now looks like the modest option compared to what he's suggesting allies do on their own. This is intentional.
The persuasion mechanics here are priming plus pre-selling. Whatever the eventual deal includes (US Navy permanent presence, joint patrols, Iranian withdrawal from mining infrastructure) the public will accept it because Trump already told them the Strait is there for the taking. Your subconscious mind has already been primed to accept it.
This "psychological baseline" is going to influence Trump-Iran negotiations. Best believe it.
"The hard part is done" works the same way. He's managing public fatigue.
It translates to "we won, relax, this is cleanup".
This keeps approval from eroding while the Pakistan talks drag through April.
Trump isn't describing reality. He's installing it.
Say the Strait is takeable enough times and it becomes takeable in the public mind.
It's been 10 years of Trump and he still leaves me in awe with his persuasion.
