They still have the SAS/SBS, and they have almost always been covertly deployed in past Middle East wars, with their presence only being confirmed later. I guess Starmer's statement is to make it clear that not even they will be deployed in this war.

Q: "Who's paying for the cost of this war? Will those Arab countries step up to do just that?"
KAROLINE LEAVITT: "Well, I think it's something the President would be quite interested in calling them to do. I won't get ahead of him on that, but certainly it's an idea that I know that he has and something that I think you'll hear more from him on!"

A month into the war with Iran, the Israeli military has almost completed bombing all of the targets it defined for itself at the start of the conflict, and has now been ordered by Israel’s political leadership to shift to targeting “economic” targets of the Iranian regime, The Times of Israel has learned.
Israel’s defense establishment is now in what it described as the “completion phase” of the goals it set out at the start of the war, meaning it believes it has largely achieved its objectives of degrading Iran’s military capabilities and “creating the conditions” for the Iranian regime to fall.
As the IDF has almost completed bombing all of Iran’s weapon production sites, Israeli leaders have ordered the military to carry out strikes on targets that cause economic blows to the Iranian regime.
This included a strike on major Iranian gas infrastructure in the country’s south nearly two weeks ago, and strikes on two of Iran’s largest steel factories on Friday. In both cases, Israel aimed to cause massive economic damage to the Iranian regime.
Additional such strikes against Iranian economic targets are planned by Israel’s defense establishment, aimed at causing more damage to the regime.

The strait has global geopolitical consequences and should be an allied effort.
This is where a few other counties need to step up and help. I’m sure we can and will get the strait back open, but others should contribute.

Their public LIES are just that: LIES.
Interesting. This is going on while
-Iran is shipping more oil than a year ago at higher prices
-Price of oil continues to climb
- Markets continue to slump
-Preparations for ground combat are underway.
