US defense official confirms to Fox News that the Pentagon is sending the USS Tripoli, a Marine Amphibious Ready Group, and the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) to Mideast. The Tripoli is stationed out of Japan and would take about 2 weeks to get to the Mideast. Accompanying the ARG and the MEU are approx. 2500 US Marines.

I've been busy this weekend and haven't followed things much at all;
good to see Pahlavi making the rounds with foreign leaders. How many has he publicly met with so far?
I said it before, they need a figurehead to lead an Iranian revolution, if this is to work out the way we hope. Pahlavi seems to fit the requirements for that, but he can't just be installed by Trump (it would look like Trump is playing "king maker"). Pahlavi has to cultivate this, both internationally and within Iran, himself. And it appears he has started doing the legwork now.
