MBS had to resort to recruiting child soldiers for the Yemen coalition just because their military is so inept. People have clearly never read into KSA’s military
And for the record, frick Saudi Arabia. It’s a Muslim country where the overwhelming majority of its population align themselves with the pro-Palestine pro-Hamas crowd. Most of them would gladly welcome an Iranian style Islamic-republic if it weren’t for the royal family being in charge.

At the end of the day, muslims will stand by muslims, despite their sectarian or factional differences. The muslim states going to war against Iran would weaken the islamic effort of forcing islam throughout the world. Truly going to war with each other would dampen those efforts. They will take token pot shots at each other, but truly going into full out war in these times just won't happen
100% hit the nail on the head
The GCC governments are not representative of their populations in the slightest bit. While the monarchs are moderate, most of the people who live in those countries are extremely conservative annd align themselves with the IRGC. It’s why rulers like MBS have to rule with an iron fist to squash the slightest hints of any uprising or coup.

At 6 a.m. ET today, U.S. Central Command forces began launching a wave of strikes against Iran. The strikes are designed to further degrade military capabilities Iranian forces have used to attack commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

President Trump held a meeting last night in the White House Situation Room to discuss plans for new strikes against Iran, which will be broader in scope than the bombings currently being carried out in the Strait of Hormuz, according to three sources familiar with the details. The meeting was also attended by senior members of Trump's national security team, including VP Vance, SOS Rubio, SOW Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Steve Witkoff, and other senior officials - Axios

Hezbollah is preparing an escalation plan against Israel that would intensify attacks on northern communities, per Emirati outlet Aram News, citing Lebanese political sources. The group is awaiting Tehran's approval and has begun reinforcing positions north of the Litani River

I mean I really hate to say it, but please get Israel involved. Let them come do the wetwork they’ve been seeking to do.
I would bet a small amount of money on if Israel joins, then Iran comes to the table with a different attitude.

the amount of disinformation this week is unusually strong. To the extent that it could well be intentional. Recognized news media has no comment about real happenings in Iran and I think that is laziness at work. Very little first hand comment from Iran underground, maybe avoiding attention, Trump making Bombast comments about 20%, maybe keeping the news media chasing irrelevant topics. Israel has great deniability about active participation, but what happens at night. Several days ago comments about unknown maybe known attack planes from gulf countries.
All of this suggests that power plant and bridges day may be happening and even the Iranians are unaware.
Conjecture? yes
but a whole lot more useful than the cultural scribes opining these last 2 pages of comment

Iran has been extremely vocal lately, I’d argue more vocal than previously.

Having worked 8 years in Saudi and Kuwait, even when you are on the same side, there is a lot of vocal shouting. Yallah/yallah, In Shallai, Mafish mescala, mafi muck, burkra, Jinn, jebel,
frequently you have to listen to what they do not say

I don’t feel like pushing them back to the negotiation table is worth it. You obviously can’t trust anything they say.
True.
We should state that there will be no further negotiations, that we will ONLY accept their unconditional surrender.
Keep bombing and killing members of the IR and IRGC until someone finally bends the knee.
But Trump wont do that because he thinks in can "make a deal" with them. I support the vast majority of his positions but this is just stupid on his part. They will lie and stall at every turn, then go back to what they were doing.

There is no deal to be made.
It is called surrender.
