The U.S. and Gulf states reportedly want to avoid turning the confrontation with Iran into an Israeli-Iranian war, fearing it could hurt legitimacy and widen the conflict. Israel, for now, prefers to let Washington lead and benefit from U.S. pressure without paying the price directly — while Tehran also appears to prefer keeping Israel out of the picture. Still, Jerusalem is preparing for scenarios in which the fighting expands, including possible Israeli strikes on Iranian infrastructure.

If I were the Persians I darn sure don't want the Hebrew State to weigh in. They understand one another, the region, the players, the cultures ...the West, not so much

President Trump views Iranian strikes on commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz as acts of terrorism, CBS News reported citing a US official.
The official said the ceasefire was performance-based and Iran’s actions amounted to “failed performance at an unacceptable level.”

There's no way that's not us or Israel. There's no one else capable of dropping ordinance like that without being detected.

At this point I am all for targeting all irgc military sites after Iran attacking shipping in the strait.
If I was president I wouldn’t let them ever get a toll from that either. I’d be hitting them hard, and at this point, that’s their own fault

Honestly, I am all full ground troops at this point. We need to have our military take over the strait and occupy it so that this doesn’t keep happening.

Guess you’ve never heard of drones and missiles that can come from outside the strait area?
Or that they could hit ships anywhere in the Persian Gulf?
The only way this stops is regime change. How that is done is up for debate.

Qatar using it's "investments" to hinder Israel's ability to produce Iron Dome parts for their air defense systems.

Qatar's sovereign wealth fund is vetoing a deal between Volkswagen and Israel's Rafael to produce Iron Dome components, per Bild. As VW's third-largest shareholder, the fund is blocking the agreement. The Wolfsburg plant now faces possible closure, with hundreds of workers at risk of layoffs.

Yesterday's strikes on Iran were carried out by Kuwait and Bahrain.

As of Febuary, Qatar's investment fund owned 10% of Volkswagen equity and 17% of voting rights. The Porsche-Piech families held 53% of voting rights, via Porsche Automobil Holdings. The state of lower Saxony held 20% of voting rights and, by law, has veto power over mergers, capital increases, and structural investments.
In other words, if the VW deal with Israel is blocked that decision may have occurred at a state level, but almost certainly not the state of Qatar.

We tried that already. I think it was called Operation Freedom, or something like that. It worked great for one day, then we called it off. The explanation was that it was way too expensive.

Correct. And we should not have anymore ceasefires. Keep striking any targets that are found. Tell the Iranians there will be no negotiations, that the only thing we will accept is unconditional surrender.
It was how we dealt with Germany and Japan. That is the only solution.

BREAKING: The USS George H.W. Bush is reentering the Gulf of Oman, now inside Iran's missile range and at the shortest distance ever reported from Iran's coast of just 170 km, escorted by two Arleigh Burke-class destroyers, per today's Sentinel-2 satellite imagery.
This comes just hours after the USS Abraham Lincoln reentered the Gulf of Oman, with both carriers now positioned as the US appears to be preparing for the imminent reimposition of the naval blockade on Iran.
