The “proportional and limited self-defense strikes” mean this conflict will never end unless the United States simply walks away and even then Iran will continue wreak havoc in the Strait at will. Trump is realizing he’s in way of his head with no way out.

This is weak. We look like fools. Either bomb their arse or come home. Negotiations are at a standstill and we are wasting time. Trump is looking foolish and indecisive at this point. They do not fear or respect us.

I honestly do not know how one secures a credible peace with a nation that has no intention of making nice with the USA, much less Israel and more recent aggression against Gulf States. The internal optics would illicit a coup. Hatred fuels the Mullahs and IRGC and don't take my word -- listen to the rhetoric, observe its ruthlessness against their own, standing up proxies to do one's bidding, and lashing out at regional neighbors

Hold on to that thought. And after a while you will come to realize neither side expects their demands to be met. As you alluded to, a peace deal is a retarded idea.
Another thing, people keep posting that the amazing rescue of our downed fighter pilot in Iranian territory has absolutely nothing to do with "Trump losing his balls". To believe that would mean that the rescue where which was successful and ended with a couple hundred Iranian military being killed made him lose his balls instead of emboldening him. But when service members did die, nah that didn't cause it. The successful rescue mission did.
