In order to get it done, Trump would have to come forward respectfully and actually ask for support. Trump will never do it because he is a narcissist, but if he did, he could get a specific authorization passed.
I just don't see it. What Democratic Senator would vote for that? Plus, you know Paul and a couple of other Republicans would oppose.

Hell, at this point we are just as likely to get a truth social post from Donald saying that he never said that and the reports are fake news.
We are probably a week or so away from claiming the nuclear dust was destroyed
They might have a little bit of dust, probably none. Zero dust. Can’t do anything with dust. Our beautiful men, strong men, dropped big bombs on it.

if Trump went to Congress with an actual plan and a specific request for authorization, he could pull several democrats in to support the action
Fetterman...that's it.
You folks can't ever tell the truth. No other democrats would give an AUMF to Trump because it would look like a win...for him. Y'all can't have that at any cost.

The dust is obliterated. Or overrated. Depending on which minute of this answer you listen to

lol, we hear this every 4-5 days. Empty threats. The kinetic phase of this war is over. The strategy now appears to be let the sanctions/blockade choke their economy for several more weeks/months to get a more favorable deal.
Neither side is looking to make a deal. They don't want to be blown up and Trump is apparently hamstrung by the war powers act. So he is looking to reset the clock.

We are officially cooked. Trump is turning circles and AI is taking over.
The question was about digging it up and this was the response?
So Uranium dust is no big deal and he just made it a big deal?

That's the aspect of Trump's handling of the Iran thing that bothers me the most. I'd rather we be bombing Iran hard, but I recognize that there's an argument against it - the damage they would do to regional oil installations, etc. So it's whatever.
But don't feed us these BS lines which are 180 degrees opposite of each other from one day to the next. Like talking about the (obviously crucial) issue of getting the nuclear dust for months, and then, when we have no success in getting it, act like "oh, it's overrated- never mattered at all." It suggests that he thinks American are just gullible stooges who will buy any bs line and can't think for ourselves.

It’s time to accept that we are going to be in a stalemate for a very, very long time.

stalemate for what exactly?

Iran was only weeks away from having a nuclear bomb, so we had to go to war. They were building bombs with the uranium that is totally obliterated. It's also not obliterated but completely buried and inaccessible by anybody other than the US and China. Iran said they would let us come and get it. Or maybe they didn't, depends on what day you ask. But we have to get it, because they will build a nuclear weapon with it. Even though we obliterated it.

Iraq had stockpiles of WMDs

As I recall the climate back then, GWB did not spend 24/7 publicly accusing Democrats of treason for anything and everything.
That’s because GWB was working with the Dems and Deep State Reps to commit the treason. Now the treason is known.

Yeah that’s the part I never understood. They used them. They had them. And all these idiots were saying we lied - when instead they should have been asking where did they go? Who took them? Who has them?

Thought they found safe haven in Assad's Syria

I usually refrain from talking about this because people are so sold on the narrative that there were no wmd in Iraq. But I will respond this time because you posted a good question.
The answer is Irag had them. Then we waited for them to move them to Syria. Before attacking. Remember the long pause before the invasion! Yeah we were waiting until the moved them to Syria by train.
Some one is going to ask why. And to answer that question, is because we just wanted war. And a long war. Which is what we got. Better to leave the WMD's out there for future wars/purposes. That narrative of recalling Iraq's WMD "hoax" has been very very slightly useful in Iran. They were put to better use in false flags in Syria.
Remember when Syria was winning its war and then decides to use WMD's for no apparent reason? Yeah, he didn't. You're winning, why turn the whole world against you.
edit for your to you're

A stalemate? Get your head examined. Maybe you have a tumor. Iran's economy is sinking further down a whirlpool each day.
