Let's get to Turkey. Or maybe Italy? Hell, Canada would be nice. Germany would be fun!

Taxing Authority

Every time that pathetic bitch avoids giving specific nations for comparison, she just admits again that she has no floor. That if she got what she wants today and we had more gun violence, she'd demand more gun control then too.

Maybe Walmart could take care of that.

They're just the largest seller of guns in the US, not the Republican Party banning the CDC do any research on gun violence.

If you finished your analysis you'd know this! Sigh.

Did you ever answer what you'd do if you got everything you wanted and then we had a shooting where 2 students with revolvers killed 10 students?

You'd just shut up, right?

Well obviously we'd need to ban "Speed Loaders" because they make revolvers deadlier.

I mean, seriously who needs this?

Retailers don't set the definition of assault rifles.

Then how in the motherfrick did they just announce they wouldn't sell them? Did they flip coins in a back room to determine which guns they would no longer sell?

I agree. "Let's" go to one of those countries. "Let's" stay there, too.

What is the demographic breakdown of those numbers?

I'm confused where you think you should be doing this instead of your analysis, tbh. That's really all that's confusing at the moment.

It's not really about that. It's about making her look foolish at this point. I feel guilty sometimes. Then I realize the risk of letting it go unchallanged.

We hit this number, then Bama shuts up if there's another gun incident?

Or, maybe if we hit this one, you shut up if we have another incident?

Or, OK. We hit this one and you shut up?(never mind the obvious differences)

So you'd like gun laws that mirror Germany's?

hmmmmmmmm

Neat. Selling a product doesn't equate to authoritative expertise.

I can explain this for you, too.

Why would you defer to a retailer who sells more Toilet Paper in a month than firearms in a year?

Because said retailer sells more firearms in a year than any other seller. That toilet paper is sold nationwide at a higher rate than firearms is immaterial.

Why don't you go to some real gun experts who can actually demonstrate to you with cold hard facts and even a direct demonstration of the differences?

Because "gun expert" and "cold hard facts" don't go hand in hand on this topic. "Gun experts" are so beholden to keeping the status quo that they'll fight any gun control, even when it is backed by "cold hard facts".

What in the world makes you think that gun nuts are honest brokers on this topic?!

I'd say they looked at what weapons sold the least, what gave them the most virtue signaling bang for the buck, and went from there?

Done. Now, explain where you're confused...

quote:

He asked me to classify what was an 'assault rifle', and I said that I would defer to those classified as such by the retailers who have chosen not to sell them. I think we can all agree that they know how to classify guns that they sell, especially when they sell more of them than any other retailer.

Then how do they even tell the difference between a rifle and a handgun?

1. The removal of one mode of fire from the AR-15 to sell it to civilians doesn't invalidate that the weapon itself was solely designed for the military. Removing the turret from a tank doesn't make a tank any less solely designed for military use.

2. If you can tell me which of the AR-15 and the mini-14 are banned for sale at Dick's and Wal-Mart, and why, then I'll tell you the differences.
What does Dicks' and Walmart's actions have any bearing on your ability to answer?
